Exfoliating shampoo – deep cleansing to prepare the hair for the extension install

This exfoliating shampoo has been developed to thoroughly cleanse the hair and scalp, removing any residue. It is designt to prepare the hair for the installation of extensions, as your own hair has to be completely clean and free from dirt and product build-up. This shampoo effectively removes residue and provides an optimal foundation for perfectly installed hair extensions.

Application:

Before installing the extensions, your own hair should be washed thoroughly with the exfoliating shampoo. Spread a walnut-sized amount in your hand, apply it to the scalp/hair, lather, massage it in and rinse thoroughly with water. Afterward, no conditioner or hair treatment should be used until the extensions have been installed and the bonds have hardened (hardening usually takes about two days).

This clarifying shampoo is not recommended for cleaning the extensions themselves; only for deep cleansing of your natural hair before installation or after removing the extensions.

Product details:

Content: 100 ml
vegan and cruelty-free
Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cellulose Acetate, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, LaurylGucoside, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Parfum.

Please note:

Clarifying shampoo should only be used before installing or after removing hair extensions. It should not be used directly on extensions as this could affect the bonds and the hair. For daily care and cleansing of hair extensions, we recommend our cream shampoo.

Why is it important to use a cleansing/exfoliating shampoo before installing the extensions?

Before installing extensions, it is essential to clean your hair thoroughly. Residue from styling products, accumulated sebum or dirt can affect the longevity of the extensions. The clarifying shampoo from Global Extend cleans hair and scalp thoroughly and creates the perfect foundation for long-lasting hair extensions.

Benefits of the clarifying shampoo

Deep cleansing:
Effectively removes sebum, dirt and styling residue from the hair.

Gentle exfoliation effect:
Exfoliates the scalp, removes dead skin cells and promotes blood circulation.

Optimal preparation:
Creates the perfect foundation for a strong and long-lasting installation of the extensions.

Gentle formulation:
Despite the intense cleansing effect, this shampoo is not aggressive. The natural cellulose particles ensure a gentle but thorough cleansing.

Application of the clarifying shampoo before installing the extensions

To optimally prepare your hair before installing extensions, these steps should be followed:

Wet your hair: Wet the hair thoroughly with water.
Apply shampoo: Apply a walnut-sized amount of clarifying shampoo to the scalp/ hair.
Massage in: Gently massage the shampoo in. The exfoliating particles unfold their cleansing effect and remove residue.
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse hair thoroughly until no residue remains.

Once the hair is completely clean and dry, the extensions can be installed.

ingredients for effective cleansing

The exfoliating shampoo combines high-quality ingredients that thoroughly cleanse the hair and scalp:

Natural exfoliation particles: The natural cellulose particles gently remove dirt and residue.
Moisturising ingredients: Glycerin acts as a moisturiser because it attracts water and binds it to the hair. This keeps the hair hydrated, smooth and less prone to breakage.

The Exfoliating Shampoo from Global Extend is an indispensable product for anyone who wears extensions. Prepare your hair perfectly and ensure long-lasting hair extensions!

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a clarifying shampoo necessary before installing extensions?

In order for extensions to adhere securely and firmly, your natural hair must be free of residue. The exfoliating shampoo removes all residue and creates the perfect base for the extensions to adhere to.

Can I also use the exfoliating shampoo for daily hair washing?

No, we would not recommend that. Although it is relatively gentle, your hair does not need such intense cleaning every day. We recommend our cream shampoo for washing and caring for your hair while you are wearing extensions.
