Wie funktoniert die Rücksendung?
If a product does not fit or you do not like it, you can return it to us within the 14-day return period. The products must be unused and in their original condition. Customers from Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland can create a return label via our online shop: https://globalextend.de/pages/retoure (DE/AT/CH) or https://globalextend.de/it/pages/retoure (Italy). Returns are free of charge within Germany for orders over €49. Returns from Austria, Italy and Switzerland are free of charge for orders over €199.
How does an exchange work?
If you would like a direct exchange for a different colour, please simply note this in the return package. The new colour will then be sent once the return has been processed. (Direct exchanges are only possible within the EU.) The original invoice remains valid in the event of an exchange. You are also welcome to send a strand of hair with your return so that we can select a colour for you. (Even if the products are exchanged, it is important that they are returned unused and in their original condition.)
How do returns work outside Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy?
Customers from other countries can also return items within 14 days. To do so, please send the products in their original condition to the following address: Global Extend GmbH, Altenbachstraße 18, 73035 Göppingen, Germany. Please choose a shipping method with tracking so that the return can be tracked.

My parcel has not arrived or has been in transit for a long time. What can I do?
If you have not received your parcel despite proof of delivery, or if it has not been scanned by DHL for more than 5 days, please contact our customer service team. We can then contact the shipping service provider if necessary.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery within Germany takes 1-3 working days. Within the EU and Switzerland, delivery usually takes 2-4 working days. Outside the EU, delivery can take around 7-14 working days.
Why is Klarna rejecting me?
When purchasing through Klarna, the delivery and billing addresses must be the same and must match your registered address. When purchasing on account or in installments, Klarna will also conduct a credit check. If your payment is declined, you will need to choose an alternative payment method.

Which colour suits my hair?
There is a photo of each of our colours in our online shop. However, it is not always easy to find the perfect colour. You are welcome to send 1-2 photos of your hair to our WhatsApp customer service so that we can make a recommendation. Photos taken in natural daylight are best for this. Alternatively, you can send us a letter with a strand of your hair and your contact information. We will then contact you once we have found a colour.
Our address is:
Global Extend GmbH
Altenbachstraße 18

Another way to determine the colour is to use our colour ring, which contains sample strands of all colours: This can be ordered from our online shop:
https://globalextend.de/products/echthaar-farbring?color=all
Once you have found the right colour, you can return the colour ring within the cancellation period.

What is the difference between classic tapes and invisible tape extensions?
With invisible tapes, the outside of the tape is completely covered with hair, so that the tape is almost invisible.
Another difference lies in the origin of the hair. Invisible tapes are made of Slavic hair, while classic tapes are made of Indian hair.
They also differ in weight.
The classic tape extensions always weigh 25 g per pack.
The invisible tapes contain 18g for 35cm, 22g for 45cm and 25g for 60cm.
What is the difference between single tapes, supertapes and replacement tapes?
For every need, we have the right replacement adhesive with which you can reapply your tape extensions:
-The "Replacement Tapes on the 2.7m Roll" and the "60 Replacement Tapes" are double-sided standard adhesive with strong hold.
-The "Supertapes" have an extra strong hold and are also double-sided.
-"Single Tapes" are single-sided adhesive strips. They allow you to apply a single tape strand without having to stack two extension pieces on top of each other. A single tape is used as the counterpart to a tape-in extension. Please note: single-sided tapes are not intended as replacement tape for retaping!
How many strands are in a pack?
Classic tape-ins and invisible tape extensions each contain 10 individual strands per pack. Keratin bonds and nano ring extensions contain 25 strands per pack.
What type of hair are Global Extend extensions made from?
Our extensions are made from Indian human hair. With the exception of Invisible Tapes and Genius Weft, which are made from Slavic human hair.
What is the difference between the different versions of clip-in extensions?
The seamless clip-in or invisible clip-ins are a 7-piece set with lots of volume. One set is usually enough for a complete head of hair. They are not sewn at the seams, but attached to a thin silicone strip, which means they can be easily applied even to thin natural hair. The classic clip-in also consist of seven pieces. They have less volume than seamless clip-ins and are usually only used for adding volume or for updos. The one piece, on the other hand, is a single, 29 cm wide hairpiece that is attached with six clips. Last but not least, there are the fill-ins. These are four clip-in strands that can be used either for adding volume on the sides or to complement the other clip-in versions.
Care & handling of extensions
Wie pflege ich meine (dauerhaften) Extensions?
You can find all the important information about hair care in our care instructions. We recommend our complete care set. This set contains all the important products you need.
How do I care for my clip-in extensions?
Clip-in extensions should be washed as needed. Washing them too often will dry out the hair. Since they aren't worn permanently, frequent washing isn't necessary.
If you want to wash multiple clip-in pieces, wash each piece separately to avoid tangling. After shampooing, we recommend applying a conditioner and leaving it on for about 5-15 minutes.
Hair oil should be applied to the tips after blow-drying or styling - but do not use too much, as otherwise the hair may look stringy.
Can you straighten/blow dry the hair?
Yes! Since the extensions are made of high-quality human hair, they can be straightened and blow-dried. Heat protection spray should be used with any heat treatment. We recommend using a maximum of 180°C with a straightener or curling iron, and a maximum of a medium heat setting when blow-drying.
Can you dye/bleach the hair?
Since they are made of human hair, it is possible to dye the extensions - but only darker. We advise against bleaching them. Remember that they were already dyed during production. If you do touch up the colour of your extensions, you do so at your own risk. If you want to dye them, you should wash the extensions 1-2 times beforehand so they can absorb the colour as well as possible. It's best to dye a small test strand first to see how the colour comes out and how the hair reacts. After colouring, you should regularly apply repairing hair treatments. Chemical products can damage the hair and the bonding areas. We therefore advise against chemically treating the extensions. Since a lot can go wrong during toning and coloring, touching up the extensions will void all warranties.
How can I avoid split ends?
Split ends are unfortunately a normal part of long hair's wear and tear. Depending on the environmental influences the hair is exposed to, they can appear sooner or later. It's very important that the hair is adequately moisturized. The extensions are bleached and colored during production and therefore require adequate care. After shampooing, we recommend applying a conditioner. You should also avoid washing your hair too often; 2-3 times a week is usually sufficient. Hair oil should be applied regularly to keep the hair soft. Air-drying your hair is also not recommended. It's better to blow-dry it with heat protection.
Hair is more fragile when wet than when dry. Going to bed with wet hair, for example, can quickly lead to split ends and breakage. If only the ends of your extensions are affected by split ends, but the overall texture of your hair is still good, you could have your stylist trim the ends so you can still wear the extensions for a few more weeks.
My extensions have discolored. What could be causing this?
This depends on the extent to which the extensions have discolored. Have they become lighter or darker? Or have they turned orange/reddish? Possible reasons for the color change include: color fading due to sun, seawater, unsuitable shampoos, or excessively frequent hair washing. If the hair has turned orange , it is usually because the extensions have come into contact with the UV filter butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (BMDBM), also known as avobenzone. Unfortunately, this ingredient is now found in many day creams and sunscreens. We offer a Color Restore Spray for this purpose, which can be used to correct orange discoloration.
