All components of the set

  1. sewing yarn
    One roll of yarn contains 115 metres. The tread is tear-resistant, which ensures a reliable hold of the hair extension when used correctly. The yarn is available in five different colours.

  2. garnishing needle
    The garnishing needle has a diameter of approximately 44 mm (1.7"). This curved needle helps to securely sew in the wefts. A straight needle should not be used for this purpose.

  3. loop needle
    The loop needle helps to thread strands of hair through the microrings. The total length of the loop needle is approx. 21cm (8.3"). It has a black plastic handle.

  4. 100 microrings
    The set contains 100 micro rings. These rings have a thin silicone layer on the inside, so they are gentler on your client's hair. They are available in five different colours.

  5. Hair Gripper
    The Hair Gripper is a practical tool for sectioning hair.

  1. Sewing in wefts with microrings: This set has been carefully put together for sewing in hair wefts with microrings. This extension technique is popular for its reliable hold and minimal stress on the natural hair. Neither heat nor glue is required for this method.
  2. Attaching clips: Turn loose wefts into clip-in extensions if you don’t want permanent hair extensions. Replacement clips can be attached to wefts using the curved needle and sturdy sewing thread.
  3. Sewing together wefts: If necessary, two wefts can be sewn on top of each other.

The Microring technique

Wefts should only be sewn in by trained professionals to ensure a secure hold and prevent hair damage.

  • First, the hair must be sectioned.
  • The microrings are attached to the hair in a row: Using the loop needle, strands of the client's hair are threaded through the rings and pressed together with pliers. (The number of rings required depends on the width of the weft and the size of the head.)
  • The piece of weft is then placed and sewn in using thread and the curved needle. With our hair wefts, it is important to sew the cut ends together securely to prevent the seam from coming undone. If you are using our Genius Wefts, there is no need to sew the ends together, as they are processed differently.
  • Once all the pieces have been installed, the haircut usually needs to be adjusted to achieve a beautiful, natural result.
